In this course you will learn four main sets of techniques:
Standing Breathing Exercises - a range of breathing exercises to clear the mind, relax and envigorate the body, open up the breath and generate states of emotional peace and wellbeing.
These breathing exercises are the perfect preparation for Sacred Sound Meditation.
Alternately, practised on their own they become a moving meditation in themselves - making for an awakened focus to start off your day, or an energising cleanser to let go of the stresses of everyday life.
Sighing, Groaning, Laughing and Other Vocal Techniques - fun, freestyle ways to dispel physical tensions, access your inner creative power, release your natural voice and bring you into a relaxed state of free-flowing self-expression.
Toning - the art of creating pure vocal sounds.
Toning reveals beauty and purity within your heart and voice that you never knew existed. These magickal sounds simply and effortlessly lead us into deep states of natural meditation.
Sacred Sound Meditation: 'Breath of the Heart, Voice of the Heart' - a gentle way of falling into a beautiful heart space and allowing your true inner beauty to safely shine forth.
Via a down-to-earth teaching approach, you will also learn key principles and concepts to using Sacred Sound as a path of meditation and personal development. This essential knowledge will help you understand your experiences, maximise the results you obtain, and integrate what you learn into your everyday life.

Don't worry if you haven't been practicing meditation since - that's what this course is about!
There are no other prerequisites - and definitely no need to already feel confident, creative, expressive or talented in any way!
Through laughter, awareness, creativity and courage you will safely express parts of yourself that may not have been let out since childhood.
Those who are already on a creative path will gain keys to strengthen, purity, refine and develop the free-flowing expression of their true inner beauty - without becoming caught in the ego.
This course is for you if you are prepared to commit to:
* attend the Sunday workshop and participate in the evening class every week
* practice 20 - 30 minutes meditation every day over the 6 weeks
* keep a (brief) daily practice journal
* a short written assignment at the end of term
This course is *not* for you if want to:
* attend on a casual basis
* practice only some days in the week
